Update
Hampshire County Council has backed an FOE sponsored resolution
against government moves to introduce GM crops in the County. At
their October meeting Councillors criticised in their resolution
draft government
guidelines that assumed GM contamination of conventional crops
is inevitable.They offer no guarantees for Hampshire's organic producers
and bee keepers and plan to keep secret where GM crops are being
grown.
